High quality pastoral care is at the forefront of the course. Every student’s well-being and safety is at the forefront of what we do. Annelies has advanced child protection training, and all staff are fully DBS checked. Annelies, Wanda and River (our admin assistant) all hold up to date First Aid qualifications.
Wanda, our wonderful Matron, has a background as a qualified child-minder and has held the position of matron on several residential courses. Wanda’s son Billy is also on the house staff team: he has a contemporary music degree, and has been a beloved pastoral team member on all the Dynamites courses since 2019. On one of the student feed-back forms from last year, Wanda and Billy were named as the “thing you would most like us to include again”!
Cello Dynamites is an annual residential course for cello pupils aged 8-18 and from Grades 3-8.
